I am a Ph.D. candidate in Criminology at the University of Pennsylvania, where I am also pursuing a master’s degree in Statistics and Data Science.
My research examines how policing practices and criminal justice interventions shape police behavior and neighborhood violence, with particular emphasis on modern causal inference methods. My work examines a range of topics, including the adoption of body-worn cameras (BWCs), gang takedowns, recreational cannabis legalization, and the relationship between licensed firearm dealers and local gun violence.
